Mar 21, 2017 · WebMD physician directory in Give & Get Advice

Hi All –

I know for doing a bulk subscription in Healthgrades, you are able to do it for free if you sign their ‘Agreement for Updating Profile Information’. In this agreement it states that there are no fees associated with the establishment of an administrator/roster access or the use of Manage My Profile.
I have not looked into WebMD but now I am going to take a look. If you find any information out Justin, please pass along!

Update – I spoke with HR this morning and even though we are asking applicants to send us there resume via email, no one has that applied through Facebook. They want to put this on hold now, until (if that point comes) where Facebook allows you to attach your resume to your application.

@kathywinter – It does come through as a message to the page. I included in the description to send their resume to the email HR has setup for job applications, so I am hoping they are doing both. I am hoping to catch up with HR to see the variance.

Thanks for the response, @lucybordewick! Hopefully that doesn’t happen since you get good reach with the links!

In general, I am surprised at how many applications came through, as we just wanted to test to see if anyone would apply through Facebook.

Hi All,

I have been talking to my HR department here and we have decided to pilot a few jobs with their new job listing feature. I posted my first two last night and when I checked in this morning, I saw the organic reach was VERY low. It does not (to my knowledge) give you the feature to target these posts either. I will say, that we did get a few applications, but I am still concerned about the reach.

Has anyone else tested this feature yet? Did you have the same issue?

Feb 2, 2017 · How do you monitor and manage your online reputation? in Give & Get Advice

Hi Jordan –

The company I work for uses Empathiq. We have 125 providers and 30 locations we monitor. This number will grow as we have hired new doctors for 2017 and are opening new locations.
We chose them because they give each individual provider a custom URL link and when that doctor/staff member gives out the cards we created to showcase their link, it will take them directly to a site to tell about their experience. The better part of this deal though, was if a provider got a bad review (say on Healthgrades), this URL would push the good reviews (after the bad one was submitted) to Healthgrades. This helps as it still makes their profiles look fair, but combats the bad reviews in the one way you can – good reviews!
We previously used Review Trackers and loved them (and their reports) but they couldn’t provide this URL as we would have to do a lot of work on our end.
I currently am the one that works with (or bugs is a better term) to get slanderous reviews taken down and I manage the information updates on their profiles.

Hopefully that all made sense!

@cassiprice That is great advice!! Can you give me an example of the keywords that you are putting on their profiles? For example, is it what you are tagging them as (ex. orthopedics, orthopedic surgeon)? I am now going to work on Bing this week.

Also, I forgot to mention in my previous post that we use the company Empathiq to crawl the web for us. They email me every time a review is posted and I also have Google Alerts set up for everyone as well.

@cassiprice It completely does! I currently am in charge of the Physicians in our central region (61 of them) for online reputation. I have accounts for their Google Plus pages, Healthgrades, and Yelp.

On the topic of online reputation – did you notice that Vitals took away the platform for doctors or companies to manage their profiles? If I am missing something, please let me know!
