This article makes a case that although there is no universal perfect time to post on Facebook, there is a best time for YOU to post on Facebook, then explains how to discover what that time is.

I agree Dan and I am delighted to see this article, as it backs up what I always say to students when I teach social media classes – the best time to post is not set in stone. You will need to test it for yourself. Thanks for sharing!

This is particularly true of markets that transcend time zones. For instance, when we post for Mayo Clinic we have patients from all over the world and campuses in Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones. How could 3 pm Tuesday be the best time for all of them? What about Ireland!

Actually I had started to write that very point in my reply and it’s something I often say because my audience is in Australia, Europe and the US – but then I thought better of writing it and deleted it.. because I thought well I would just adjust that time for the different time zones 😉

…thus requiring multiple posts to hit different audiences in different time zones. I wonder if there’s an app for that.
