The Cleveland Clinic’s ‘10 Commandments’ of Innovation

Posted by @DanHinmon, Feb 1, 2016

“Sometimes it’s good to take a peek at the competitor’s playbook,” writes @westr in a note referring us to this article. “Here, the Cleveland Clinic has handed on a silver platter a set of tenets that’s made the Clinic a household name. Importantly, in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, innovation will be a continuing theme necessary not only for leap-frogging over competitors, but for mere carnal survival.

“All 10 of the Commandments are interesting and important, but my favorite is #10:
‘Innovation is not the antithesis of the academic mission. It is the enabler – it’s both an opportunity and a responsibility for the minds in healthcare to bring forth tomorrow’s solutions.'”
