The 10 Content Marketing Commandments for 2018

Jay Baer shares his 10 commandments for the year. Read his post for a few lines about each commandment.

  1. Thou shalt not engage in random acts of content.
  2. Thou shalt not be a content coward.
  3. Thou shalt not embrace false metrics.
  4. Honor thy audience as a messenger.
  5. Thou shall be mobile-first (for real).
  6. Thou shall create talk triggers.
  7. Thou shall atomize content.
  8. Thou shalt not cross-post.
  9. Thou shalt not pray at the altar of volume.
  10. Thou shall covet moving pictures.

trying to convince management about #8 & 9, and looking for economical solutions for #10 for a tiny department

Great set of commandments – that makes you the Moses of Social Media!

I am working on a Golden Rule” of Social Media. The shortest I have come up with so far is “Be Kind”.
