Interesting summary of the impact Hurrican Irma is already having on hospital services. Our thoughts and prayers are with those living in the path of the hurricane.

Are we evacuating? My geography isn’t very good but I read that this will affect the entire state of Florida. Concerned.

Hi, Nancy. By now you’ve probably received an answer to your question, but check the Mayo Clinic intranet for up-to-date details. As of now, the hospital remains open with patient appointments rescheduled.

Thanks, Dan. Couldn’t check there from home and too busy when working. Thanks for the update.

My thoughts are with my hospital peers in Florida during these difficult and stressful conditions. I’ve been fortunate to have visited Florida and enjoyed its cities and natural beauty.
