Reviews are the Most Prominent Local SEO Ranking Factor in 2017

Author Matt G. Southern discusses Local SEO Guide’s annual study of what matters most when it comes to SEO. Reviews, and not just the quantity of reviews, but what is said in them, are the most prominent ranking factor for local SEO.

Google My Business pages with reviews that mention a keyword, and/or the name of a city, were found to have higher rankings in Google’s local pack.
