Moments, the Best of Twitter in an Instant

Posted by @DanHinmon, Oct 9, 2015

This week Twitter introduced Moments to help users find the best of Twitter as easily as tapping an icon – regardless of who you follow. On your Twitter app you’ll notice a lightning bolt in the bottom navigation. Just tap it and you’ll discover stories unfolding on Twitter. I like it! What do you think?

Not available in Australia yet. Considering there were 2,791,300 Twitter users at last count in this country, I am a little bemused about why we’ve been made to wait. Any ideas?

Good question @sbrooks2. No idea how Twitter chooses to roll out new features. Are you looking forward to using it?

I would certainly give it a go, just as I would with any new media technology.

Interestingly I see the Moments feature on my iPhone 6 Twitter app and on my desktop web version, but it isn’t showing on my iPad2 Twitter app. Try checking your other devices.

Will do @DanHinmon, but I can advise my iPhone 6 Twitter app currently does not show the Moments feature nor is it prompting me to run an update.
