How to Use Creative Commons to Find Free Images

Posted by @DanHinmon, Wed, Sep 19 11:49am

In the eternal search to find interesting, inexpensive photos for your social posts, consider images with a Creative Commons license.

This blogpost explains what each Creative Commons license means, how to search for images under these licenses, and how to attribute images that were published under one of these licenses to the original author.

Caution: If you’re resourcing photos using the image search in Google, remember that pictures found in this way are almost always subject to restrictive copyright terms.

This is a great explanation of the different kind of licences. I've put together a list of free image sites which others might find helpful https://hcsmmonitor.com/2018/08/20/10-places-to-find-the-best-free-images-for-your-healthcare-marketing/

Thanks for sharing this link, @MarieEnnisOConnor. Most of these sites are new to me. What is your favorite go-to site for free images?

I think I've just about squeezed everything I can out of Gratistograpy 🙂 Pixabay is my everyday go-to tool
