Great post. Another bonus: Planning before you interview anyone (if you’re going to) helps you write around specific keywords. We have been emphasizing keyword research to help us optimize our blog posts lately. That might mean that instead of just making our focus keyword “breast cancer,” which has tons of competition, we might focus on “breast cancer myths” or “breast cancer treatment in Virginia.” It’s very difficult to do that if you’ve already done the interview or written the post.
