Facebook Tests 'Reactions,' a Like Button With More Emotions

Posted by @DanHinmon, Oct 8, 2015

Engadget has learned that Facebook is about to launch a “Reactions” feature that expresses multiple emotions, instead of the lonely “like” and long rumored “dislike.” May start rolling out in Ireland and Spain tomorrow.

It always feels weird when you see a post about someone experiencing a loss in their life, and the only option other than to leave a comment is “Like.” Having a range of ways of expressing support would be helpful.

I agree @LeeAase. So much smarter — and useful — than just introducing the “dislike” button.
