Benefit Cosmetics, BMW, and Royal Caribbean have experienced problems with their live Periscope broadcasts, but that just lends to authenticity, says this article.

Even Twitter was caught off guard on a Periscope stream of an earnings call when a watcher asked CEO Jack Dorsey if he was single, sending a flood of cartoon hearts across the screen.

Lesson: Be prepared for odd viewer comments and technical glitches, but don’t panic.
