A Teenager’s View on Social Media Written by an Actual Teen

Posted by @DanHinmon, Feb 10, 2016

I was fascinated by this article from beginning to end. Along with some interesting info on how teens use these platforms, I was intrigued by the fears and pressures associated with each.

Clearly, Facebook may not be the best platform to build teen communities. But which would be better?

Snapchat is huge for teens. Also Instagram.

That’s what I’ve noticed too, @ahavaleibtag. From what I’ve read so far, Snapchat is asking huge $ for campaigns. Do you know any hospitals using Snapchat or Instagram to target teens for services?

There are a lot of hospitals on Instagram. But in general hospitals don’t go after teens because they don’t make the buying decisions.
