Visual abstracts
Hi all. I'm curious if any of you have ideas on best practices when promoting academic publications by faculty. I'm a physician myself, and I particularly like the format of the "visual abstract," which summarizes the methods and results of a study/publication in a concise infographic. This a favorite method of journals to showcase their results lately. The downside is that they can be a little labor-intensive to create. How do you all handle promoting academic work in a public-facing way?

The few journal articles I have been a co-author of were lucky to have had other authors who were able to create the graphic . This one example https://twitter.com/mtmdphd/status/1341089105220923392?s=20
Great to way to share bottom line info on social media.
