#MayoRagan: Pinterest

Pinterest is one of the more commonly used social media platforms. The Pew Internet and American Life Project reports that 15 percent of Internet users in the United States use Pinterest, trailing Twitter by only 1 percent. What's more, women ages 18-50 years old make up the predominant segment of Pinterest users. For health care organizations, this is a golden opportunity to connect with, share with, and inspire the health and nutritional gatekeepers and influencers in millions of households.
