By Lee Aase, Director, Mayo Clinic Social Media Network @LeeAase

Y3TH03imageThe Mayo Clinic Center for Social Media will be co-hosting a webinar on Thursday, March 21, 2013 entitled "How hospitals build strong partnerships with patient advocacy groups."

This is the March installment in a series of monthly webinars the Mayo Clinic Center for Social Media provides in conjunction with Ragan Communications. The regular price for the webinar is $199, so members of the Social Media Health Network may use 199 points to register for the webinar here with no out-of-pocket cost. If you are a member and your current point balance is less than 199, you may purchase the points you need to register at a 25 percent discount. If you need to purchase more points, send us an email and we will contact you with details. Go here to register using your points.

One webinar per quarter is free for Network members. We will be identifying the free webinar offering for Q2 in late March. Previous webinars are archived for member viewing as part of the Course Catalog.

See more details about this month's webinar, including non-member registration. If you are interested in joining the Social Media Health Network, see this page.

I am looking forward to this webinar. Question: I just used my Mayo Social Network credits to purchase the March webinar. I was directed to type in my credit card before the Mayo site redirected me to the Ragan Communication site to complete registration. Will my credit card be charged?

You shouldn't have been charged. If you see a charge on your credit card statement please let us know and we will work to rectify.

I wasn't able to view this webinar but I'm in the process of developing a patient partner group. Is it possible to view a recording of this webinar?

We will be getting the archive to post here. I'm asking @randyschwarz to check on the status.
