Curious. Is there any significance to these? Linkedin has always seemed like the social media site for the serious-minded. Is this to draw in the millennial crowd, perhaps? I'm sure I'm missing something…

This is a surprise. I think they're missing a "disappointed" or "bad news" reaction, although I understand the reluctance of social media platforms to make it easy for people to be negative. @brendanmcadams you could be right about broadening the LinkedIn appeal.

I like this. We’ve been trying to do more with LinkedIn and understanding what our followers like or don’t like is very helpful.
I was also surprised there was no negative reaction. It will be interesting to see how these play out.
Maybe it's a subtle way of saying "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." Interesting!

Oh my gosh, @bethdavidson. You are totally channeling my dad. I can't tell you how many times I heard that as a kid. As an adult, I find it some of the best advice I've ever received. How different would Twitter be if this was the general rule for human interaction?
