Wondering if anyone has used social media in creative ways to introduce a new CEO?
During a CEO transition, the new CEO (he had bred the chief legal officer for our org) already had a small twitter presence.
When he became CEO his tweets were effectively amplified by the Clinic's account.
He did use photos quite well, especially when he was engaging various staff.
Retrospectively, I would consider creating a weekly two minute "CEO Corner Twitter Video" and also use the organizations Email to leverage that.
He or she should discuss a cultural topic, something they had learned during the week about the organization.
I think video is way underutilized on twitter and the ceo who masters it will stand out.
