Upload a Photo (All Members)
If you haven’t already, help members add a face to your comments by uploading a photo for your avatar. How: Click on your profile image at the top right of this page. Select "my profile," then select "edit" in the bottom right corner of the top box. Now click "change photo" on your avatar. Tip: Use a photo that reflects your personality while keeping in mind that this is a professional community (i.e., more like LinkedIn than Facebook).
Customize Notifications (All Members)
Take a moment to set your notifications to a delivery frequency that works best for you. We don’t want to spam your inbox! How: Click on your profile image at the top right of this page. Select "account settings," then scroll down to email notifications and select "posts," "groups," and "digest." Change any settings you'd like. Select "Disable all email notifications" to turn off all email notifications. Tip: Receive notifications in near-real time if you’re actively following a discussion. You may opt-out of a discussion at any time.
Begin and Join Discussions (Premium Members)
We've noticed that the more specific your question, the more likely you are to get a response. You'll find members who generously share their experience and wisdom. Tip: Alert someone specifically by including their @Name.
You’ll find lots of content for your benefit on this site. Premium members may access Social Media Basics Certification and archived webinars. All members may read and comment on blog posts. Come back frequently to read the News You Can Use feed, our daily news digest, and comment there. You’ll also find news, information, and links to resources on @MayoClinicSMN.
