On Friday, March 16, fourth-year medical students from Mayo Clinic School of Medicine will take part in the National Resident Matching Program, often referred to as "The Match" or "Match Day." Match Day is one of the most anticipated days of a medical school career – it's the day they learn the specialty and location of the residency program where they will train for the next three to seven years through national resident matching programs. Match results are confidential until the celebratory reveal at noon on March 16.
Every doctor remembers the day they received the envelope that held the fate of their future.
Join us March 16 as we broadcast the excitement of Match Day 2018. The broadcast will start at 11:35 a.m. CDT, with the moment of truth (the opening of the envelopes) at noon.
