Top 10 Mayo Clinic YouTube Videos in 2015

Our Mayo Clinic videos on YouTube, viewed more than 7.5 million times this past year, included timeless classics like

It doesn't include perhaps the most famous Mayo-related YouTube video, Marlow and Frances Cowan's Gonda Building piano duet, which now has 10.8+ million views since Jodi Hume uploaded it in 2008.

The following list of videos we uploaded in 2015 includes our most-viewed video ever -- the one featuring Allen Zderad seeing his wife for the first time in 10 years, thanks to a new "bionic eye" device. The video capturing that moment was widely embedded in news sites and has 1.54 million views to date:

Our second most-viewed video of 2015 features another patient story. Andre Pearson's wedding surprise video had 612,848 views:

Researchers commenting on published studies provide great content for YouTube. This one about recent Alzheimer's research got 36,511 views and came in at #4:

We teamed up with Fight Colorectal Cancer to raise awareness of colorectal cancer through the #StrongArmSelfie campaign. Our awareness music video with Craig Campbell has 32,570 views so far:

Dr. Raymond Iezzi commenting on the bionic eye is our sixth most-viewed YouTube video of 2015 with 30,281:

Another cancer research video had 26,000+ views:

Former Iowa State Men's Basketball coach Fred Hoiberg (now the head coach for the Chicago Bulls) commented on his experience just five days after open heart surgery this year. The video was eighth, with 9,026 views:

This video about Courtney's double-organ transplant story already has 8,587 views:

Our Top Ten Videos of 2015 list is completed with this  interview with Tom Brokaw, a member of the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees. It be viewed 7,651 times:
