Introduction to Flickr

By

Flickr is essentially YouTube for photos, although you can now upload video to Flickr. Currently on the standard free Flickr accounts, there is a 300 MB photo and a 2 video limit per month. If you upgrade to a Pro account for $24.95 annually, these limits go away.

If you mainly want to share photos only with your friends, Facebook is really your best choice. That’s why, according to comScore, it’s the #1 photo-sharing site on the Web. If you're interested in video, then YouTube is your best bet.

But if you want your photos to be available to anyone, Flickr is a great site for you.

Create a Flickr account if you don't already have one and start uploading your photos.
